Default PT Studio 2023.12.1 won´t launch in Win11

So I have been using PT for many years, just want to check the knowledge base on this. I installed the latest 2023.12.1 version of studio and the app
will not start neither from dock or folder. It looks as if it´s activating for 5 seconds and then just dies. I have rebooted, reinstalled, but zilch.

The app looks active in the Activity Manager but nothing happens. I run on a Win11 system installed on a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz with 32 Gb of Ram and it´s been working totally fine for three years with all Audio/video apps and defintately with Pro Tools.

The system is fine but something is blocking PT from starting,
any ideas what it could be?

Hi [email protected] - I checked your account but I don't see any licenses active that can run Pro Tools 2023.12.1. Your last Pro Tools Subscription expired last November 2023 and the perpetual license you own will only work with Pro Tools 11.

For you to be able to run Pro Tools the latest version, you also need to have an updated license.

Not on this account no, I´m running on a license from the company I
work with. But this is not license related. When there is a license problem
the app will say so and ask for an account.

My problem is that PT won´t even start, and it crashes so that it won´t stop
either without a shut off from Activity Center. If I hold mouse over the active
app symbol in the dock there seems to be a symbol of a page with text but
I can´t enlarge it. Must be some kind of conflict?

I am logged in to the active account with a year license.

Hi [email protected],

Using your system id with active plan, can you submit a case using the link below together with all the info regarding issue/error you encounter? Once you have a case, kindly send it here or DM me so I can coordinate it to our tech support team.
