usb 1.0 and usb 2.0
hi,
i would like to get a new mbox but i don't know exactly which one to choose, between the mbox mini and the mbox. i don't record any audio like mic or guitar or mpc,etc..i just make beats with reason rewired to pro tools. For this reason i think the mbox mini is better for what i need, except it's in usb 1.0. is that a big problem? or 2.0 is better? thank you |

If it's Pro Tools you want then get PT9 (run with asio4all driver) or use practically any sequencing program "just to make beats".

Re: usb 1.0 and usb 2.0
To my knowledge the only difference as far as PT is concerned is that USB 1.1 is limited to 48k sessions, where USB 2.0 can handle 96k sessions.
So USB 1.1 should be fine for what you're describing.
