DAE error message -9073
I need help DAE error-9073 during recording Pro tools L.E. 7.0. on Mac OS X 10.4.8.Using Maxtor onetouch 3 Firewire 400/USB 2.0 has external(firewire connection) where session files are stored.Music routed from DJ mixer>Digi 002 rack>M-Audio USB MidiSport 4x4>Mackie 8 channel master control,which can control software in addition to mouse click/keyborad.
The counter in the transport window stops>then wave file ends> then multi color wheel of death>then error message after a couple of minutes.Usually after i click ok inside message box eveything returns to normal.Please help.

Could it be...
Pro Tools stops recording after about 5 minutes (5:03), seems to hang with a SWOD for up to a few minutes, then throws a DAE error -9073. This is a known issue in LE 7.0 and HD 7.0/7.1 (Mac) when the session has track names longer than 31 characters. It was fixed in LE 7.0cs4 and HD 7.1cs4.

Thanks for the response.You gotta be kidding me...lol,something as simple as that..wow. I was loosing my mind.I think that might be the problem.My son was using Pro Tools and recording with no error messages then when I got on after him I kept getting the messages.I thought he was up to no good, almost tossed him outta the house....lol...Do I need to upgrade from L.E 7.0?

It does seem 7.1.1 is more stable. I am at 7.3.1cs2 and it is fine on my G4.
