Default ?How to "clean uninstall" 10.3.5 to get to 11?

I want to install PT 11. I currently have 10.3.5. So i have to "clean uninstall" 10.3.5 to install 10.3.6 before I can install 11.
When I attempt to uninstall 10.3.5, I am presented with 3 uninstall options. Which uninstall option is the "clean uninstall" option?

1) ProTools Only
2) ProTools, Avid HD Driver
3) ProTools, Avid HD Driver, Preferences, Databases and MIDI Device/Patch Settings

I got one option only for clean install. I would go for option #1 in your case

Why would you want to uninstall 10 anyways?

If you use any third-party plug-ins, and except for a very few, you will not be able to use them in PT11.

Update to 10.3.6 and then install 11 normally. Both can run on the same computer, though not both running at the same time.

Third party plugins is NOT uninstalled when you do a clean uninstall. Avid recommend a clean uninstall before installing 10.3.6. Read documentation

I guess I initially thought that OP wrote he was uninstalling 10 to install 11. Guess I read wrong.

Do a clean uninstall of 10.3.5.

Run the 10.3.6 installer which is a full installer.

Run the the PT 11 installer and plugin updater.

I would update your iLok software first and make sure thats all working 100% before doing any upgrading and updating.

Making a backup of your 10.3.5 and 10.3.6 installs now before you install PT11 may be useful later on.

Whenever you uninstall any version of 9 or 10, select to remove the HD driver as well.

Default Re: ?How to "clean uninstall" 10.3.5 to get to 11?

Searching the whole web site, these are the 2 statements I found that apply to my situation:
Co-Installing Pro Tools 10 and Pro Tools 11
Pro Tools 10.3.6 is the first version of Pro Tools 10 that supports installation on the same system with Pro Tools 11.Co-installation
support is limited to Windows 7 64-bit.
If you have an earlier version of Pro Tools installed, it is recommended that you perform a clean uninstall before installing Pro Tools
10.3.6 and Pro Tools 11.

Pro Tools 10.3.6 is a full installer
Avid recommends uninstalling your current version of Pro Tools prior to installing 10.3.6
Reinstall the Drivers for your interface after a Clean Uninstall

Based on these only 2 pieces of information I can find on the Avid web site about moving from 10.3.5 to 11, I will choose the 3rd uninstall option I noted in my initial email, hoping that's what ProTools means by a "clean uninstall".
Then I'll reinstall the M-Audio driver, then install PT 10.3.6. THEN I'll try to install PT 11. By then, PT 12 will probably be out with a whole new procedure as to how to move to that!!!......

I used option #3 with no problems. I always run a registry repair after a PT uninstall as well.
