Yeah mesa, I think you're right. So many choices too. Maybe some are thinking "Amplitube 4 is around the corner and with it new and better emulations", who knows.

For me as a European, one collection (take for example the Orange) runs $139 including tax, so it's not overly cheap either.

Personally, I was let down by SampleTank 3 and have encountered frustration with Amplitube and other IK products, so I'm not eager to buy more. Not a fan of the Custom Shop at all, which is too bad for me since pretty much every IK product uses it.

i was not overjoyed with sample tank 3 either but it IS far better than the original and #2. but yes it was probably a little less than a year i say that they had the first group buy on amp3... i got pretty much everything they own for a benjamin so i won't be buying in.

i agree with mesa that the custom shop sucks and i hate how they power sell you with all the demos you end up having to remove after you install their software.
