Volume knob not working on my Scarlett 18i20

Has anyone experienced this?

I recently upgraded to an iMac with 3.1 ghz i7. Installed PT 11 and connected my mac to a Focusrite 18i20 interface.
Pro Tools is running fine, but playback is REALLY loud and the monitor volume knob doesn't seem to work because it's on zero, and turning it has no effect on the overall volume.
The mute and dim buttons also have no effect on playback whatsoever.
I'm racking my brain here. Am I missing anything...?

Try opening the Scarlett Mix Control software. Check on the bottom right hand corner of the GUI. To the right of the round volume knob, you'll see a small square labeled HW Control. Blue means the knob and buttons should work, and grey means you need to use your mouse or trackpad to adjust the controls on the GUI. Hope this helps !

you did it! Thanks so much :)
I didn't even think to download MixControl because I know that the plugins aren't compatible with Pro Tools...Silly...

Anyway it works now :)
The only caviat is that I have to turn the volume way up to hear anything..It's almost at 50% when I want to hear something at a reasonable level. Is that normal ?

What kind of speakers are they? do they have an onboard gain control?

Half way up doesn't seem like an unreasonable level, though.

I can live with it. With my old digi002 I didn't need to turn it up so much. Here there's no audible signal at all at about quarter turn. The speakers in using are KRK V8s series II. I'll check behind tomorrow if I can manipulate the gain level. Thanks for the tip!
