Creative Collection plug-in error

I am trying to install Pro Tools 8 software on my Windows 7 machine.
The install process keeps hanging up in the middle and returns the following error:
"Pro Tools Creative Collection plug-ins not installed".
Can anyone please give me any helpful advice?
