On Mac Book Pro 13", Pro Tools 11 is crashed! Why?
It's about Mac Book Pro 13 "(Early 2015), 2.7Ghz Intel Core i5, 128Gb SSD, 8Gb RAM, Iris 6100.
The problem is in the stability of the Avid Pro Tools program. I wanted to use a DAW DIGI003 mixer to record eight channels simultaneously at one concert. One day before I tested the stability and every 15 minutes of recording the program crashed. There were errors for the Buffer for which I tried all the combinations and got the same result. I had installed ProTools 12.4, later I installed version 11 because I thought the problem was in the version of the software and nothing changed and still crashed. Pro Tools 11 is certainly 100% compatible, which I checked on AVID site. I was very surprised that one PRO can not work on one Mac Book PRO. It was even more surprising to me that I solved the problem with one PC ACER laptop, which is the year 2007 (2GB RAM, Intel 1.6GHz...)! It does not show instability at any moment, it recorded the entire concert for 2h 30', 8 channels simultaneously on the DAW DIGI 003 with the Pro Tools 8 software :) |
