Duplicate Midi region always sliding off?
Hi folks...
this might be a well known issue, but I keep coming across it...and it P#$#es me off everytime. ie: I have an EXACT 1-bar midi drum pattern (exactly 1 bar). I have Grid 'on', snapped to 1 bar-length. I select the 1-bar midi region, and duplicate it 10 times.... guess what? the 9, 10, etc copies are not on the bars anymore. If you zoom in tight, you can see the midi notes have shifted a few ticks. this is incremental too...so the more copies, the worse it gets. WTF? what am I doing wrong? PS: yes, the notes are quantized.

Re: Duplicate Midi region always sliding off?
Check out this thread:
http://duc.digidesign.com/showthread.php?t=230547 It's been discussed to great lengths, many times over. Some folks have discovered a "work around", but I can't remember the particulars. Good Luck
