found this out on another forum this morning. he is one of the guys you just always expect to be out there rockin. a truly great and original voice in metal. got up close to him a couple years back at namm. he reminded me of a hobbit. i have been calling him bilbo (baggins) ever since

Yeah Ronnie was proof that loud things come in small packages. Incredibly powerful pipes. The rough and tumble world of Rock and Roll always seems to get dirt on your hands yet Ronnie seemed to always be a bit above that.

For some reason I have always grinned whenever I think about the album cover for Last In Line which featured a Hobo pushing a shopping cart in Hades. That always appealed to my whacked sense of humor.
