Intel Macs runing XP and Pro Tools?
Hello,
I have a Macbook Pro Duo 2.16 with 2 gigs of RAM running XP Professional SP2 with an Mbox. My question is, can I run Pro Tools with XP on this machine? I tried installing PT 5.3.3 but I couldn't get the program to run. I got "Digidesign Hardware Driver Installer Utility" error messages. The reason I'd like to run this version is that I have some old sessions I'd like to work on, with a bunch of kick-ass plug-ins that I've spent a lot of money on. I have a legit SN# and such - just couldn't get it to work?? Also, can I download and run PT 7.x on XP with this machine? If so, where do I download it from. I couldn't find it anywhere on Digi's site. Any help is appreciated. |
