m-box2 pro tools 6.8.1 consolidate selection

hello everybody
someone run with success the "consolidate selection" (menu;edit)?
in pro tools 6.8.1 (m-box2) os x 10.4.2
i try to consolidate some different regions .but the function stay greyed on the menu and i can not have access.
(in slip mode or grid mode is the same dont work!!)
