Melodyne ARA can't edit.

Hi there.


On this song I have worked on, suddently there is a line that Melodyne can't edit. It just shows flat lines (see picture)

I hvae tried to quit Melodyne, render and try to edit again on another track, but no matter what it just flatlines...

Consolidate just that portion and right click to edit in Melodyne.

Make sure you do not have any other elastic audio properties enabled on the track.

Change the algorithm in Melodyne. This happens sometimes as Melodyne has analyzed it as percussion(which has no pitch value). Yes, its silly that this happens, but I see it enough to know what happened

Yeah, just found out myself too.
Strange. Melodyne plugin never behaves like that, at least my one doesn't...

I've seen this for over a year and I usually have the very latest version installed. I am on the latest right now and have seen this randomly

+1. If you mainly just use Melodyne for monophonic work, you can set the default to always choose this algorhythm (this is what I did as 99% of the time I'm opening Melodyne for vocal pitch correction). In the Melodyne Editor window, go "Algorithm - Set Default - Melodic"
