"Saving backup" taking too long...

When I have Kontakt player enabled, and sometimes even with Kontakt 2, the saving backup takes up to 10 seconds and it stops everything (spinning ball, ecc.), pretty annoying especially since I've set automatic backup every 3 minutes. Anyone has a workaround ? Thanks

BTW, I was forced to switch to Structure - which brought it's own share of issues into my workflow...

Thank you Jack I saw your post... fortunately I still have the good old habit to save my sessions frequently, so what I'll do is just temporarily disable the auto save function. The difficult thing is to remember to re-enable it...
I don't find Structure free flexible enough to substitute Kontakt 2, and I'm still using a lot of N.I. stuff because they're so good sounding... the thing is I would suggest them to hire some of the Propellerhead programmers to make their product better...
