Default Who has had SUCCESS with 9.0.6 ? (Non HD)

Experiences please. Only if you've had success. There are other threads for "issues". Would like to get an idea about the "odds" of success. Trying to decide whether to do it.

Successfully updated on 10.6.8

Failure on 10.7.2 without a crazy workaround that most people would not be comfortable doing.

PT 9.0.6 is running great, but I should mention a bug that has been around since PT 8 and it is still not fixed in 9.0.6.
I will be doing a lot of MIDI region arranging when the whole screen gets grayed out and unusual vertical dark gray lines appear all over the editing screen. I save the session, close and re-open, and it is all back to normal with no harm done.
It only seems to happen when I am moving blocks of MIDI regions around.

I've never used Pro Tools before (a newby ) but so far Pro Tools 9.0.6 seems to be working just fine here
Cheers
