Hey Digi,

I just opened my tester file. Since I removed:

microsoft AU Daemon

iTunes Helper

from Login Items, I'm not getting the giant spike, but things still aren't working. Keep getting -9136 Error.

My tester file has:

8 Instrument tracks, stereo, with one Structure 3 empty and 4 Xpands.

4 stereo audio tracks, 4 mono.

Verb and Echo returns on Auxes.

All have EQP-1A and BF-2A. Master fader has T-Racks EQ, Fairchild and Maxim.

If I deactivate the EQP-1As on the Instrument tracks, the error goes away.

If I deactivate on the audio tracks, error is still there.

Is it possible that there is a conflict between Digi VIs (Especially Structure) and the Pultecs and JoeMeeks?

I don't have the problem with Digi EQ3s loaded instead of the EQP-1As.

Another thought:

I believe that the templates I use in PT8 originally came from PT7, from PT 6.

Could that be part of the problem?

I may have started from scratch. I'll test it again, from scratch.

Okey-Dokey,

Created a new template from scratch. Same problems.

Added 3 more Structures. CPU usage went down to about 50% from 78%.

Got the error.

Deactivated all 4 Xpands. It worked fine.

Activated 1 Xpand. Got the error.

Hmmmmm......

Maybe this is an issue between Pultec/JoeMeek/BombFactory Plug-Ins and Xpand?

What happens if you don't use any Kontact VI's? Have you checked for updates on the Pultec bundle since moving to PT8?
