True. But efficiency cores are made for background processes.

I hope Sketch gets expanded instruments and midi, route midi to VIs and midi outputs.

God there are so many things. Some big wishes:

1. Easier, more robust playback speed options. I want to easily be able to playback something at 1.5x, or .5x or .8x, with or without changing pitch.

2. Along with that, it should be easy to RECORD at different speeds, with or without changing pitch. Not just half speed/half pitch. And not the huge hassle of manually setting up elastic audio for each track, changing the tempo, then setting it all back. Just let me record difficult parts at whatever speed I want.

3. Quicker and more complete stem bouncing and archiving options. Like bouncing or freezing stems through all the routing. Quickly freezing entire sessions so that they're not all missing plugins in a few years. Maybe that's already possible and I just don't know how.

I would like to see some kind of indicator to what track is pulled up on Melodyne ARA. When editing a track you can't tell what track you're editing, I'll end up editing the wrong vocal track.

I'd be happy enough if PT 2024 took full advantage of all P cores.

Some attempt at or commitment to Midi 2.0. It would be a pity if Pro Tools is the last to the table once it really starts rolling out.

Hi all PT lovers,

Here some ideas I'd like to be seen in future version of PT:

- Presets in Panner (to quickly retrieve most used settings)
- Automation Safe Zones (to be able working in "to end" mode within an already mixed section without having fear to erase all outside the working zone). For example remixing a scene inside a reel.
- Making the border of the main window highlight in Green when in Preview mode (Too often I found that I was mixing in preview...)
- A prerence to copy clip to new playlist prior an Audiosuite is applied
- A possibility to set a clip color for new recordings
- Lock track on screen (for reference) when scrolling up/down
- Select clips in timeline by creation date (Lets say I'd like to select all the clips I have recorded today that are on the timeline, not in clip bin)

Question, why would you like to record at different speeds ?

That's true, Midi 2.0 would be awesome, but I don't see many companies adopting the new standard yet...
