Default First Plug-in with NO MIX support !

I didn't expect this to happen so soon but the Waves TDM version of their Restoration Bundle is HD ONLY.
This from their site.

TDM systems:
Digidesign ProTools HD systems only (MAC & Windows)
800x600 minimum display
MIX hardware not supported!

I wonder how long till some others follow this especially with OSX for ProTools nearing.

The upcoming Massenburg EQ plug and the upcoming Cranesong tape emulation plug will be HD only, if my memory serves me. I think that the power of HD might be necessary for some of these new plugs. Or, it could be a copy protection issue. I think that the iLok offers greater safety and that's allowing some high end manufacturers to get into developing for ProTools.
