MBOX Noise Blasts-user warning? mbox recall?
Hi DUC folks.
I just experienced one of the mbox noise burst that I have read about on the DUC. The noise was so loud it could easily cause permanent hearing damage and blow monitors. I assumed that it was a minor annoyance like when converters sync up, or a bad clock signal. This was a long blast that did not stop even after I had torn the headphones from my head. I won't be using my mbox until this is sorted out and it really seems that an offical warning should be given. In certain situtations, someone really could lose their hearing from this. I think all users should be warned and if the noise blasts can't be sorted out, the devices should be recalled. This is a serious safety issue for any user. thanks. |
