Default M-box 2, 7.4 recording guitar.

Hello, I purchased the m-box 2, 7.4le a while ago and am planning on getting either pro tools 8 or logic studio (help here too). And was woundering, when I am recording guitar into the mix on my mbox 2; I get a guitar echo, or I hear the guitar in the mix when I am recording the second guitar and it's like a delay effect for the second guitar while i hear the first, like latency or something (but I am not sure if thats what to call it, because its not really latency). I saw on one of the pro tools video's and they talked about it being hard to record guitar or that if you solo that track: but that doesnt work and you can't hear the other guitar(but I am just little confused though). Is this going to happen in pro-tools 8. I am planning on getting a mac pro computer with alot of ram for latency issues in a month. Please help. Thanks for your time in advance.
Lou.

What buffer size are you using. Anything above 128 and you will have latency.

Also, get to know the mix knob on your Mbox.

Make sure you don't have any latency indcing plug-ins on your master fader as this will cause problems too.
