Getting files out of Logic

I know some of you guys are using logic as well as PT - so I thought this might be a useful place to ask. My friend is doing some overdubs for me on his Mac based Logic(latest version)/TDM setup and he is not sure about how to get the tracks out of Logic so I can use them (Windows) .
As I have never used Logic before and so far have not been able to look at the menus I'm not sure what specific advice to give him. I have essentially two questions:
1. Where and when do you set up the parameters of the session ie. sample rate / bit depth
2. Where is the export audio function and what is it called (Export audio / BTD etc???)
