Newly installed LE7.4 on Vista, but no sound

Hi...

Just purchased and installed LE7.4 with MBox2 mini (and updated from website the latest downloads) on my HP nc8430, running Vista Business (32 bit). I have an external hard drive setup for my audio files (Samsung MP0603H USB connected).

The program installation seemed to go fine, and I can open a .ptf and see all tracks. However, I can't get any sound to come out when I play a track (and that's a problem!). I checked in Device Drivers, and saw the 2 Digidesign audio drivers in there. I changed the USB harddrive workspace so that the audio is set on R.

Frustrated. What else need I do? Any help is appreciated.

pro tools playback sound will only come from your mbox 2 mini so you will need to onnect either your monitors or headphones to this then turn up the volume on therer and then turn the mix knob to hear the difference in whas being playd in pro tools and comingin through you inputs (fully right for just PT playback). hope this helps you.
