Default what am i missing here?

i cant seem to play back at the point i select anymore. i used (5.0) to be able to click in the edit window where i wanted recording to start and it would start there, now it only starts from the begining (5.1). is there a setting that i am missing in prefs? i am probably just missing something, but i cant find it. thanks for any help.

I don't have it in front of me but I think it's under operations. Make sure Link Edit and Transport is checked. It's called something like that. Then the transport will follow whatever the edit selection is.
