Default outputs/headphone mix

Hello,

I'm not even sure how to ask this question but here goes.

I'm using a DIGI 002 rack. I want to use the Furman HDS-6 system with it because it will allow the 'talent' to adjust his/her own headphone mix.

http://furmansound.com/product.php?div=01&id=HDS-6

Well I hooked it up yesterday and it seemed to work except,....

I couldn't get the track the I was recording onto to go through one of the eight outputs on the back of the DIGI 002. It's almost like you can't route a track through an output if that track is in record mode. That defeats the whole purpose of what I want to do.

I have to be doing something wrong!

What am I doing wrong? And how can I fix this issue?

thanks,
anthony

Check the status of your auto-input monitoring.

Are you trying to use sends to create separate headphone mixes? This can only be achieved on LE by reducing the buffers as low as poss and disabling low latency monitoring. Low latency monitoring disables sends and plugins on record enabled tracks.

If you use LLM it's a one headphone mix fits all. I tend to persevere this way so i don't have to keep switching the buffers up and down.

Cheers
