Default Access Denied

Can some one please help! I am trying to start Pro Tools LE for the first time and while loading it gives me a message "access violaton" It will not enable me to enter serial number. This is a brand new hard drive working perfectly otherwise. It has never had a previous version of PT LE on it. Thank you in advance, Brad

bmorris, what OS are you running the Digi001 on? It's a good idea to have a very mimimal system configuration (other devices disabled)with the basic OS and just the 001 and it's device drivers. What are your system specs?

Here are my system specs:
Windows 98SE
pentium III 800mhz
maxtor 80 gig internal drive
abit bf6 motherboard
soundblaster live5:1
creative modem
ATI dual video card

I was previously running pro tools on the old hard drive with no problems. Could this problem be from the order I have cards plugged in to PCI Slots? any help would be appreciated!!

Well not if everything has remained the same and all you've changed is the hard drive. Is that the case? If not fill us in. I'm assuming this is a fresh load of the OS and the 001 software on the new hard drive? I wonder if you might have a corrupt installation. It might be worth uninstalling the Digi software/wavedriver and reinstalling.
