Default Mbox with pc when? Redundant??

I know this post is redundant- but all the other Digi products now have both platforms and I would love to put this pc laptop to work with the Mbox.
Any approximate timeline on this release.
Sorry if this question has been asked and answered many times but there just doesn't seem to be that much buzz regarding this issue.
P.S. Digi I love all of your products-they are the best. I remember terrific headaches working on my old 4 track analog deck for home projects and now with Pro Tools I'm in heaven. "I love you man".

Hi. As you may know, Digidesign has a policy about not releasing new or existing product development schedules. There are many reasons for this which I will not debate on the DUC. Needless to say, it's the rule here.

OK. That said, I will tell you that it is in development. That's not secret information. When the product was released we said. "Windows version coming". We're working hard on it at this moment. Our goal is to one day in the not too distant future release both Mac and Windows products simultaneously. Unfortunately, because of current resource management, most releases will be staggered for the immediate future. Digi trys to minimize this "lag time" as much as possible. So, rest assured, barring a catastrophe, you'll see it before too long.

Ditto for me. I'm sure the 001 and 002 are greate but my I/O need are modest. I'm lookung forward to the Mbox for Windows.
