Default Pro Tools Session Data Import - Not Seeing Tracks In Folders

Hey Guys,

When importing session data from one project into a new session, tracks in a folder are not showing up as options to import into the new project in the session import dialog box.

Anyone ever seen this before?

Is this a glitch or am i doing something incorrect?

16 drum tracks in a routing folder in the tracking project, and then on the import dialog under "Tracks" none of them are listed. Ive tried opening the original session and opening the folder saving and trying again...no luck.

Let me know your thoughts.

-Ross

Strange - I just tested it and the tracks in the folder appear in the list to import.

I thought I had the same problem.

However, what I noticed, was that I was trying to import the audio from a committed Instrument track and the target track I wanted to move it to was an audio track - so it didn't show up - it's filtering on instrument tracks.

When I selected an Audio Track to Match, the audio tracks showed up in the selection window. .

So I'm new to ATMOS, but I'm trying to bring in an old session and re-mix, but objects can only be placed on Audio Tracks - so I guess I will need to import the Instrument Track to an Instrument Track and then route the output to an audio object.
