Opening Pro Tools 7 sessions in 8 craziness.
I just installed Pro Tools 8.0.1 on a new drive. I'm wondering if there are others experiencing what I am.
I opened a session that was created in version 7. To get to it. It's a mess. Volumes are all over the place. Some really loud and clipping and some really low. I keep receiving the DAE errors stating to increase buffer size. I had the processors set to 8. Moved it back to 7. I thought all of the new updates took care of the 8 processor issue? Buffer was even running at 1024. Everything was smooth in 7. I'm hoping it's just issues with opening old sessions. Sessions starting from scratch in 8 there will not be these problems.
