Default PT 11 & Tascam US-2400

I use PT 10 and 11 with Mac
Tascam US-2400 worked perfect for many years.

Now I have the problem that it works... almost. Some faders do not got in their correct position and on shutdown the do not go down in zero position.

It's always different faders and different behavior. But it is never right.
When I touch them, they work on go in the right positions...

As I say: it worked perfect for years.

I canged cables, hubs, power supply...
Uninstalled and installed in MIDI setup, peripherals...

No more ideas. Unfortunately there are no actual drivers for Mountain lion. Or updates for the US-2400

WHO CAN PLEASE HELP???

Thanks!
Martin

US2400 is HUI, right? Maybe some kind of firmware update or a hardware reset on the US2400 makes things okay..?

Your post made me nervous, but I just installed PTHDN 11.01 and my US-2400 is running fine. Did you turn off the unit with the power button and reboot holding down the Master Sel and Channel 1 buttons while hitting the power switch?

In Midi Controllers:

#1 - Hui, US-2400 Port 1 Receive & Send From, 8 ch.

#2 - Hui, US-2400 Port 2 Receive & Send From, 8 ch.

#3 - Hui, US-2400 Port 3 Receive & Send From, 8 ch.

USB direct to Computer?

I'm really liking 11.01 so far. It feels real good.

I am having similar problems. It seems to be a Pro Tools thing, and oddly when the transport is running the LEDs around the encoder knobs flicker like crazy. It seems like there is some continuous MIDI data clogging things up. I have made sure that Beat Clock and MMC are off. The only other MIDI devices are my controller keyboard (MAudio Keystation Pro 88) and the Network MIDI.

PT occasionally pops up the error message that communication has been lost too. Most frustrating. And it's the same story in 10.3.7 too.

Gonzo,

It sounds like you have inadvertently set the encoders to the meter function.
Check the manual on how to change encoder responses. Mine runs fine, but
its currently the only midi device.

Hey Trak, only just seen your reply!
No, it's not that! They are definitely not happy, there is some very glitchy flickering going on. Anyone else had this or found a cure?
