Default Can\'t create fade files (only)

After installing a second HD for Protools sessions, I get the following message when trying to do a crossfade (strange syntax and capitalization is per the message box):

Could not complete your request because You do not have appropriate access privileges (-5000) while creating "0534_continuity" while creating "Fade Files".

0534_continuity is the name of my session. I can record and Bounce to Disk (in both Audio Files and Fade Files folders) on this drive. Permissions are Read & Write for both me and the group, and I am the owner of the drive.

This seems to only affect creation of fade files and I do not have this problem when working on my system drive. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Try using the OSX Disk Utility to repair permissions on your primary hard drive.

Also - was the drive formatted using the OSX Disk Utility?

Thanks for the suggestion, but Repair Permissions did not fix it. (The sessions are on a slave drive that does not have OS X installed.)

However, File > Save Session Copy In..., then copying everything to a new session did fix it. I wonder if I will have to do this will all my pre-existing sessions?
