New Pro Tools HD 9 software upgrade free (backup?)

Hi group,

for the purchase of my new hd2, I was given leave of protools update 9.
I have been loaded on my hd 1 license iLock 9 (usually comes another backup)
Anyone know if in these cases, only give you 1 single and not backup?

I'm not really sure what your saying in your post but with a new PT9 you get one license, if you use iLok's protection plan then you have a way to still use PT9 even with a lost iLok.

What I wonder is this:

When you buy a protools license 9, 2 loads iLok licenses (one for backup)

I bought an avid hd2 and gave me the update to 9. Transferred to my iLok 1 single license (no license backup)

I do not know why.

people were selling there 7 and 8 backups
with 9 not needing hardware Avid is no longer backups provided

Protools 9 & 9HD come with ony 1 license for one iLok. No backup is provided anymore with this version.
