Default Re: Asking About Filter

Do you want to make it sound like a voice in a old movie, or do you mean like the sound of a voice in a cinema theatre? First option is subtle eq (perhaps filtering to limit bandwidth) add hard limiting and a little distortion, the second option is more a reverb thing, good impulse verbs often have a movie theatre sample, you can create a similar reverb using a hall setting and paying particular attention to early reflections, possible the addition of a subtle slapback echo.
