Default Please Help! Trim Plug-ins for PT Mix Plus 5.1
Hi guys,

Can someone please tell me whether there is such a thing as a trim plug-in (to trim level of a track) which is compatible with my older version of Pro Tools (5.1 Mix Plus, on OS 9.1)? and where can I find such a plug?

Yea, I thought about that. If you mean the "Gain" option in Audiosuite, I think there are also other plugs that are acutal "trim" plugs... and that's what I was particularly looking for...

Thanks for the tip.... Any other ideas? Anyone?

no trim plug in 5?

try the volume on an EQ plug, or some other plug that will not change the character of the sound.

I just checked on a 5.1 LE System on OS 9.x and there is a Trim plug in 5.1.1 which should work with your Mix system.

The PT 5.1.1 TDM Version is an update to PT 5.1 It gives you support for the trim plug in and the plug in itself. Here is the link:

In the Digi archive section. You will need your 5.1 serial no. to download it.
