Default Recording choir in a church...Any tips?

Hi there,
I was asked to record a choir (about 20 people) with one acoustic guitar in a church. As this is the first time I´m recording this kind of music (I usually only do rock), I wonder if anybody could give me some tips.
The Equipment I am planing to use is a Laptop with the Digi002, 2 Rode NT5, 1 Rode NTK
I was thinking of using some kind of stereo microphone techniques (ORTF or XY) with the Rode NT5 and mic the guitar with the NTK.

I wonder what would be a good starting point for recording the choir (eg. distance between mics and choir, which height should the mics be)?
Also are two mics enough for the choir?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks,
tjkili

For choir recordings I usually used B&K 4006
(now DPA) omni's.
Position: 1 meter behind conductor.
Height: 75 cm above conductor's head and pointed
just over the heads of the back row.
Configuration: AB stereo of which the opening angle depends on the width of the choir.
Try an opening angle of about 60 degrees first and listen !!! The smaller the openings angle
the bigger the choir seems to be coming out
of your speakers.
Space between the mics: 15 cm.
You are using cardoids so the distance between the mic-stand and conductor should be somewhat
increased.
Again: listen and adjust when needed.

Guitar: extra mike is perfect because the AB pair
will suffer from the "shadow" caused by the
conductor.
When mixing later on you can play with the
guitar level for balancing.

Happy recording.

Harry

Thank You for all the tips.
I´m really looking forward on doing this.
Probably I will borrow some better mics though.
