Help with using 2 soundcards!
I want to record an organ part using my B4 software going through my Creative Labs SB Live card into the 001. Problem is there is a conflict of hardware and i can only have one program open at a time. I know this is possible because it has worked before (plugging in the SB into the 001 inputs). Can someone please help me get this set up?!

Re: Help with using 2 soundcards!
If you have a program like acid.
1.mix down the song in pro tools 2.pull up the mix in another software that can play the organ and record at the same time. 3.import the mix into that program 4.jam the organ track recording it into the other software playing along to the mix. 5.import the solo organ back into pro tools and delete the mix. Or Are your IRQ's on the live and the digi sharing each other? If they are change them so they are not. Re: Help with using 2 soundcards!
make sure that you've selected the soundblaster as your audio output and not the digi.......
i run the same setup - works great. choose the "directsound SB Live" in the pulldown menu in audio settings in B4......
