PT2021.12 OS12.1 M1 Max Video Engine Troubles

I've seen online some people demonstrating the new MacBook Pro M1 Max playing back video along with lots of tracks. But I cannot get video working on mine. Whenever I try to enable the video engine PT just hangs "Waiting for Video Engine to launch..."
I've tried creating a new session with the Video Engine disabled and then when I enable it, same problem.

I've opened a case with Avid but it's been in the queue for 2 days now.
I think I'll try a fresh OS install and try again.
If anyone has any suggestions please pass them along.

I've fixed it now.
Complete wipe and re-install and now video is working! whew!
Now I'll install other apps and see if it breaks.
