More than one digi001 Card in a single computer?
I have two digi001 systems and an ADAT XT that we had prior to getting the ProTools LE systems. I have been using the ADAT as a second A/D convertor so that I can record 16 simultaneous channels of audio (using the optical connections on the ADAT and 001 card). My question is...could I put both 001 cards in the same computer and use them simultaneously so that I can do 16 tracks at once and, if so, is there any advantage to doing it that way rather than using the ADAT as an A/D convertor (besides the fact that the ADAT is only 16 bit).
I'm curious.... Thanks! |

No the 001 will only support 1 PCI card.
