Trying to sync my roland v-drums with protools le.
i play and record my drum parts on my roland td-6 v-drums and then record them by playing the part back into a stereo track.
i know there has to be a way to set up PT to trigger the vdrums to play in time with the rest of my music while tracking so editing will be much easier afterwards. i tried to line it up by sliding the regions and i could never get it right. thanks in advance for the help. |

Re: Trying to sync my roland v-drums with protools
The way I used to do it was record a scratch guitar (or whatever) track in PT using the click, then play my e-kit live while recording a midi drum track to the same click. Everything will be sync'd up and you can edit your drums in the midi track.
