Problems importing video from AV

I just installed the upgrade to PTAV 5.0.1 and am unable to import video that was digitized in AudioVision. I had no problem doing this before with PTAV 5.0. In fact, I reinstalled PTAV 5.0 and had no problem importing the video. The error message I get when trying to import is "A program error has occured". Kind of vague, huh? Could this have anything to do with the file formats being slightly different between MC ver 6.x and 7.x? (If I get video from a 7.x system I have to drop it on the AV-MC Media Translator for it to import into AV. 6.x video media works fine without conversion) Obviously this is the PTAV ABVB since AV does not work with Merridian hardware. Any thougts??
