Please post your system specs... mobo, cpu, ram, HDD(s), IRQ's, which version of PT you're running (ie 5.3.1 on a Digi 001 / AMIII, or 5.3.2 on a Digi 002, etc.) so we can see where to start with suggestions.

Off the bat, first thing that comes to mind is DMA - enable it for ALL drives.

Right click on "My Computer", choose "Properties", select the Device Manager tab, click on the "+" sign next to the Hard Disk Controllers, then right click on the Primary IDE... select "Use DMA if Available" option. Then do the same for the Secondary IDE controller.

I'm going from memory here... and since I'm on a WIN ME computer at the moment, I can't check the exact proceedure, but this is certainly close if not exact. The point is, 9093 errors are frequently due to problems relating to this being set improperly.

Ya.. Phil is right, IRQ and DMA problem should come first...

make sure your 001 card "is not" sharing its IRQ with any other stuffs

try to change slot if it does.

Dr. Phil O'Keefe, May I ask you a question here?

I have problem with wavedrive against S/PDIF Mirror in Win XP Pro + PT 5.3.1

I've setup my PT and run perfectly, and I need my S/PDIF Mirror off for outboard effect..

since I installed my wavedriver, the S/PDIF Mirror would jump to "on" by itself. If I uncheck it, I can run the section but I will get a fatal error and blue screen with I quit PT...

my config is:

Athlon 1.4G
512MB DDR
WinXP Pro
001 on IRQ 10, DMA is surely on...

the wavedrive is running well... just can't uncheck the S/PDIF Mirror in PT....

Need for speed?

Tweak your Windows XP Pro according to
www.musicxp.net

I have the same error when I open/close
windows.
