How to burn mulitples w/ Teac Duplicator?
Hi -
I've just purchased a Stand Alone/SCSI CD duplictor from CalOptic. It has a Teac 40x reader and three CDR58s 8x burners with rev 1.0M firmware. It came with a little $10 palm sized controller that allows three simultaneous copies to be made, the "PalmStar CD-99A". My question - if a dime-store piece of Taiwanese (no offense to Taiwan) hardware can accomplish the feat, why can't MasterList adress more than one identical burner at a time? With the famed Sony 900 so long dead, just continuing to spout the line that the drive has to support daisy-chaining is no longer an appropriate answer. I realize I could burn a single master, then run copies of it in the duplicator, but this seem like an unnecessary step. What steps is Digi taking to rectify this situation? Also, while I'm griping, why can't you select and move multiple items in an ML playlist? The one at a time routine is tedious and not in keeping with even basic Mac interface functionality.
