Protools LE 8 not working with new iMac
Hello
A couple of days ago I purchased a brand new iMac from future shop with OS X 10.6.8 installed. I own a copy of ProTools LE 8 (it is an update from 7 if that means anything), and I own a 003 rack. Tried setting it all up, ProTools appears to install fine and the iMac detects the 003. I have no plugins installed other than the ones included on the disk. Where it quits is right after I choose a session or create a new session- "ProTools has quit unexpectedly". I have tried installing a few updates but nothing seems to be helping. Ive read that OS X Lion isnt compatible with Protools 9.0.4 or earlier, is this still true? If so, would upgrading to the latest version of 9 fix this problem? |

Re: Protools LE 8 not working with new iMac
PT 8.0.5 for OSX 10.6.8. Free since you have PT8 already. Or upgrade to PT9 .
