Default AAF Timecode offset

I'm having trouble with AAF files, and wondering if anyone else is also. I have my students create AAFs from three different sessions and import them into one big session, however, the timecode is not transferred correctly. In fact it comes with 2 timecode addresses - the correct one and another (see screenshot). When they choose Maintain Absolute Timecode in the Import Session Data window, it imports to the incorrect address. Is anyone else experiencing this, and, if so, is there a workaround other than shifting the imported files by the offset value?

Did you ever find an answer to this? I'm having the same issue, can't find out where the offset is.
