Default Crash when dragging soundfile from Finder, can't restart.

Hi!
Sometimes Pro Tools crashes when I drag a soundfile from Finder in to Pro Tools (wav, mp3). When this occur I get the message "Hardware either not installed or used by another program" while trying to restart Pro Tools. I quit all other programs but Pro Tools keep giving me the same message.

I then have to restart my Mac to get everything going again.

Does any of you clever people know what to do?

Mac Pro 10.6.4 (Problem happened with earlier OS as well)
Pro Tools 8.0.4
Digi 002r
