Default Copy-Paste Pan data (Atmos)

I cannot copy and paste simple pan info between tracks or elements of the Panner - Probably something I've overlooked

..and whilst we're here, anyone found a good alternative to the Dolby Atmos Panner? which of course no longer works if using the internal renderer.

If you're trying to paste data between different types of lanes, e.g. left front pan and right front pan on a stereo track, then you need to use the "Paste Special->To Current Automation Type" command; the key command on Mac is cmd-ctrl-V.
