Mackie MCU Pro (trouble connecting via USB)
Hi,
being new to PT (used Ableton Live succesfully with the MCU PRO) I'm trying to connect my MCU PRO in HUI Mode via USB with out success, but lots of support fun . Called Avid -> sent me to Mackie, called Mackie -> sent me to Avid. In general most docs describing this a re very old. So what working: - Disconnecting the MCU PRO from USB and use a straight midi connection PT 10 recognizes the MCU PRO as HUI fine. - Connecting the MCU PRO to USB the midi connection via physical midi connectors no looner works. OK. - Connecting the MCU PRO to USB and trying to use the MIDI over USB with PT 10 + The connection from the MCU to PT works (physical fader movement will see fader moving on screen) + The connection from PT to MCU doesn't work (no physical fader moving when acting on screen) Any help or at least confirmation that this is the only way would be appreciated - thanks in advance. Ciao, Bernd |
