Except that AVID reps specifically said it would be at NAMM in January.

I mean, it’s not like Avid hasn’t given us information that turned out to be an exact polarity reversal from what they actually intended to do on numerous other occasions as before. Anyone remember the old “you will get maintenance and big fixes for free without having to be on a subscription” line that Tony what’s-his-name straight up lied to us about?

Yeah... Now we are paying for bug fixes...which, i really hope, make this software really stable and ready for the actual cpu technologies like hyperthreading and turbo boost and co... I use a HDX System and work with logic, cubase, live and reason... Interesting, only PTU gives me errors...
What is so difficult? JFreak says... yes, in the past, it was all so easy, cause Protools was tied to the Digidesign Hardware... And now after opening PT for third party hardware, everthing is more complicatet... Guess what...
Logic, Cubase, DP, Live, Reason and co can handle third party hardware with no problem... And the ridiculous thing is, that Avid cant even deliver a stable version of PTU with their own, i repeat OWN hardware...

So tell me Jfreak, why are all daws so much more stable then Protools...
Does Avid have no resources to give us a version, which works with HT and TB and HDX together...Where is all the money, we pay every year, going... Maybe in the Avid Gulfstream Jet 400 every year? I think, its Avids turn now, to prove, that all the Plans, we pay for a sotware, which costs 2499 Dollar, are worth the money....

I know Jfreak, you will find the next excuse, but as you see in this thread...
People don´t want to be fooled... by a big marketing machine, which means nothing...

Firstly, I don’t have a problem, so chill out and don’t speak to me like that.

Secondly, I do believe they will deliver on Mojave compatibility. This is not like when they said bug fixes would be free, or v11 owners would get 11.3.2 for free etc. etc.

This is a listed ‘feature’ if you want to call it that. I’ll be extremely surprised if they ship this version and it doesn’t support Mojave. Extremely surprised.

the question is, which Mojabe compability?
I mean, Apple released 10.4.4 now... So will Pt support this? Avid was really slow in the past...10.13.6 was qualified, when Mojave was released... I have no expectations anymore, cause i dont know, what efforts Avid can make...
For me the only true und great support is in the eucon department... And thats great...
