PT closes on Import Audio
When you first open a new or exisiting session and go to "import Audio" Pro Tools just closes and you are back to the desktop. When you reopen the file and do import audio again it works just fine. Not really a problem but quite annoying, especially if you forget to save before you import audio. It never did this but once we had a problem and had to reinstall the operating system but not protools, and it's been lame in this one area ever since. OSX 10.2.8 and PT 6.1 on a MixPlus system, Mac G4 dual 867's or somewhere close to that.
Thanks for any help! [email protected] |

Re: PT closes on Import Audio
Please start with the steps in the OS X Setup and General Troubleshooting sticky at the top of this forum, specifically those areas on trashing preference and database files.
