I'm running PT10 HD and Win7 on an OCZ Vertex 4 (128GB) with no issues at all. I would recommend it. I'm using WD black drives for session drives.

Just make sure you have the most recent firmware installed on your OCZ drive before you install Win7. If you get a drive with older firmware, the update may be "destructive" in that you will lose anything already installed on the drive. The OCZ web site explains all this pretty well. I saw a significant performance increase with my OCZ SSD after updating the firmware.

Hope this helps,
Greg

Pro Tools has to be on the boot/system aka C: drive. Any system I built now would have an SSD system drive, so that would mean Pro Tools went on tha drive. Do not try to install Pro Tools anywhere but on the C: drive.

I've recently added a Samsung 830 512 Gb on my old Mac Book Pro. Stunning performance, even with a sucky ancient SATA I interface on the old MBP.
