Unhappy PT LE 8.0.4 Access Violation Error

i have windows 7 and i was running pt le version 8 just fine, then i downloaded the 8.0.4 update and now i'm getting this message when i try to open a session...

"Could not complete the Open Session... command because Access violation occurred, unable to read location: 0x00000004 at address: 0x1005BAB3 in module: CFnd.dll"

who's gonna be my hero?

i may have just answered my own question here... so for anyone else having this problem, try right clicking on the pt icon, right clicking again on pro tools le, then left click run as administrator.

this seems to have worked for now, hopefully it will help others too.

Was having a similar problem but with a different DLL. I wiped my configs and settings for pro tools as detailed in the reference manual.
